Fragments is a drama based on the novel Winged Creatures (Creature Injuries) by Roy Freirich. This is a story of a traumatic event, a shooting in a cafeteria, and returns to it throughout its length. A sadly common event in the United States, which serves the author to reveal the shortcomings of human beings in our Western society and how they face death and loneliness. All actors play characters who have survived a slaughter marked them deeply, and also uncover problems that are brewing inside. After slaughter, the character played by Dakota Fanning, the protagonist, will cling to most fundamentalist Christianity to overcome the murder of father and to remind us as a brave man. His friend, Josh Hutcherson, who accompanied her during the shooting, stop talking.
Similarly, the driving instructor, played by Forest Withaker, who survived a shot in the neck, try to use their good run playing in a casino, gambling recovering attempting to overcome before the tragedy .
In short, a drama that does not give a respite to the viewer about missing loved, touched, clumsily seeking what they want inconvenient routes. An intense drama of lives crossed on the various ways of dealing with trauma.
