authorities, teachers, peers, families, friends, welcome.
First, I would like to begin this speech by reminding all partners in 2005 began this journey with us. Those who could not attend the graduation ceremony by the rules of protocol at the University and colleagues, for personal or business reasons, they were on the road. This day, though they can not be physically here, is also yours and we all feel that they are as players like us. Therefore, these words are also for them.
seems like yesterday when we first came to this school. I remember well that day, in the presentation of "Analysis of the social and historical evolution." Come on, what then everyone simply call history. The class was packed, there were many people who had to stand. I can still see us all a little confused and unsure before entering, thinking "who do I go? That looks like it's weird ... "
But little by little, we were leaning against a colleague and found we were all in the same situation. That day they were born many of the friendships that have been consolidated over the past five years. Cliques emerged, as happens everywhere, but we have always been united when it has been necessary and that is something we can all be proud.
If we look back we can see thousands of unforgettable moments, both inside and outside of class. Who does not remember on the third day we had to take a bus to Fuenlabrada, as if we were hiking, to our first class on a television set; the day we could release the new radio studio; the first (and last) college party that was held on the lawn of the power ... or the first test we did: 'Structure of Communication. " Never had such a panic before an exam. News was cutting and learning themselves for four months, I studied like crazy notes and books and when I saw the questions I had to answer the teacher thought it was harder (to say the word now comes to my head) I had met in my life.
But now, with distance, it seems to me that, thanks to him, I learned that we must strive and fight because no one is going to make it easy. So now I would remind the teacher that taught, Álvaro Pérez-Ugena, died May 29, one of the best and most challenging we've had in the race.
Of course, during these five years have been many more who have bet on us. Manuel Gertrudix teachers and TDI, Pablo Sánchez Cultural Industries and Pablo Prieto, now present to give a speech. Some, like Alfonso de la Quintana, a professor of Journalism Communication Company, have left us memorable moments with their explanation of 'how to give a good marriage for money' or their advice when facing the job market. Thanks to them and the other teachers because without their help we would not have come this far.
Also, I'd make a special mention for Salva. Technically not a teacher but for us it is almost an institution. Thanks to him we learned to use a camera, a tripod mount, and ride to edit videos on Avid. We all agreed it left our border because we consider it one of the people has taught us most. Always went with our class, but his modesty was stronger and would not leave. Now, Salva, you get rid of you do the recognition you deserve. Thanks for your patience and your expertise. Without you we would not know or like turning on a camera. Has been a fundamental part in our education.
However, the University is not just classes, exams and assignments. It's much more. It is an experience in life you start sharing with strangers, over time, become great companions and friends. And not just in classrooms, outside them. Travel, such as Punta Cana, Cancun or Berlin, at parties until the wee hours of the morning, at dinners and canes or just hanging out on the lawn or in the cafeteria. Remain etched in our memories the day we spent together in Cape on 13 June. I am sure that none of us forget.
However, in addition to these good times we've had others that have made us grow up and fight for what we wanted. It cost a little as to reach the optional subjects related to our career, but after many conversations and meetings with the university, arrived. This small battle that paved the way to promotions that follow us, we were coming together and, between us, it created a bond and a sense of differentiation.
I think I speak for everyone when I say we are proud to be the first journalists to Vicálvaro. With the good and bad, to be pioneers in this option, full of economists and lawyers, has made us different from any other promotion of the university. For us, we started our studies here from scratch, literally, and we've seen as the power was growing and adapting to our degree, is very important. Therefore, we urge both the Assistant Dean of Students, Araceli Rodriguez, in performing this act Vicálvaro graduation. We thought it was an act of justice to this power in the past we have so many good times together. We did not want to celebrate this day, surrounded by dozens of fellow strangers in a place that we had not walked before. We planted and not easy to put him Vice-Dean, but eventually with their support, we got to be here today. Therefore, thank you very much Araceli.
Of course, I can not fail to remember at the moment, the people who made it possible that today we are here, our parents and our families. Because without their support and help without their encouragement and advice, without them, ultimately, could not have come to the end. Thanks for putting our nerves the day before the test (because let's face it, we all estresábamos only the day before), thanks for the tuition all courses (this is essential), thanks for being there.
been five years that have grown up together, learning and striving for realizing the dream of good journalists. Although we spend more time in the cafeteria in this library, we managed to survive to subjects such as Introduction to Law, Principles of Documentation economy or information, and now we are somewhat closer to achieving our goal.
With effort and good humor were overcoming all obstacles and tests to arrive at what seems the end of an era. However, we see this day as the last but as the first of which, henceforth, will be our profession. We know, as things stand, it will not be easy but who said being a journalist was easy. Now we go out there and prove that these five years have served some purpose. We can do it. This is our time.
Congratulations first batch of journalists Vicálvaro!
The model underlying the English film falters. The new Audiovisual Act requires broadcasters to invest only 5% of their income on English and European productions. To this must be added that in 2009 the subsidies were removed would give the government for the shootings at the beginning of 2010. Industry had never seen a situation so fragile.
The industry lives in the unrest, although the latest figures assistance to the rooms far exceed previous years' data. English films abound among the most views in the past three months: Agora, English movie, Planet Cell 51 211 or so joined in an exceptional year in terms of box office Broken Embraces, Brain Drain, Lies and fat or Rec 2 . Many of these films have been produced with the investment of private television channels, whose contribution is on average one third of the total budget of a English film.
And against such a concern of film, the joy of televisions. The sector has received the new standard as a great victory, a decisive step in its long battle. A gesture that reinforces the thesis that the cinema and television are different businesses. General Audiovisual Law also requires telecommunications carriers to offer audiovisual services, to invest 5% of their income on movies.
In conclusion, the English film still be benefited by television, and that it was not enough money allocated to grow not only in Europe but worldwide. Televisions in turn disagree with the new because they indicate that they should invest in what they want ... but do the following question: if not force them to invest in domestic production do you think that television would bet por el cine español?
In May come to our theaters, "Robin Hood." Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe turn it over to a myth to make his story in an authentic cinematic experience equal to or larger than it was the "Gladiator." As its producer Charles Schlissel: "Gladiator" was the story of a man trying to regain their peace and go home and this is a man trying to find his destiny.
At the heart of the rolling hills of Surrey recreates the legend of Robin Hood. It was last summer when the director Ridley Scott and his team recorded one of the key scenes in a path full of leaves and mud, flanked by towering oaks. The shooting touched 19-week end. Russel Crowe, who plays the famous outlaw, waiting impatiently for him to roll call and taps to double-check her outfit. Robin Hood is the fifth film of Scott and Crowe, following Gladiator, A Good Year, American Gangster and Body of Lies. They rolled together ten years all over the world, but mostly with success and spectacular results that neither imagined.
Según nos explica decorator "is an epic story and filming it was almost as epic the story itself that counts. We looked all over England and made an inventory of architectural remains of the century X, XI and XII, but the problem is that almost all the time is in ruins. The exception was when Scott took the team to the coast of Pembrokeshire, where they filmed one of the great battles of the film. There were 130 horses galloped in a beautiful beach and 500 extra walk. Scenes like this produce a unique adrenaline rush.
The film is an action-packed historical thriller that explores the principle of Robin Hood is a story which describes the principal actor "with much heart." It is a story that was told as a ballad, legend, has also been used as a political tool by governors, but also by the church. In this case we have tried to do something different. The central idea, robbing the rich to give to the poor, are still present, but the way they are presented has changed.
The actor Russell Crowe plays Robin Longstride, a soldier who fought in the Crusades under the command of Richard the Lionheart. When Robin comes to the people of Nottingham feel that their duty is to defend the defenseless people and fulfill his true destiny. He also feels a strong attraction to the beautiful Lady Marion, played by Cate Blanchett. The attraction between these two figures represents the center of the film, because it is a very adult romance in the best sense of the word. In this film we see how the couple knows how to fall in love, why there is ... is a perfectly believable story.
The scale of the film is enormous: 25,000 pieces of clothing, mostly taken from the movie The Kingdom of Heaven, set in the same period. The key the costumes is in the details that bring truth to the story that develops in the story. For example, each of the men in the northern crown threatening to rebel, had its own currency, based on authentic coats of arms of noble families of England. Schlissel says his producer, "Robin Hood is a movie that is not ashamed to be. We tell the story of one of the most enduring myths of all time. "
